      | Deer Tag Applications: To purchase deer tag applications, you must be a
       at least 12 years of age, possess a valid California hunting
       license, and you must not have been convicted of a deer hunting
       violation during the previous license year.
       Tags are not transferable and are valid only for the area and
       period specified.

      | Resident Deer Tag Fee: One-Deer Tag Application - Tag fee is $28.65
 Second-Deer Tag Application - Tag fee is $35.64

     | Nonresident Deer Tag Fee: One-Deer Tag Application - Tag fee is $251.90
 Second-Deer Tag Application - Tag fee is $251.90

    | Bag and Possession Limit: One deer per license tag per season.
 |  
    | Validation of Deer Tags: Only Department of Fish and Game employees and other authorized agents
      may validate deer tags.

    | Return of Deer Tags: Every person who takes a deer shall immediately return the report card
      portion of the deer license tag, after having the tag countersigned as
      required above. The tag may be presented to a department office/officer
      or returned through the United States Mail to the Department of Fish
      and Game, Wildlife Management Division in Sacramento.
